On December 15th 2006, Tom McManamon ( aka "the Beast" ) passed away after a long battle with illness.
He was an accomplished banjo player, an integral member of Shane's band The Popes, a Gentleman and a joy and friend to
all who were lucky enough to encounter him.
Tommy was a character larger than life and will be sadly missed as He has left us all way too early.
If a picture can tell a thousand words, then a million pictures could not do Tommy justice. He graced us with his dazzling
banjo skills and he brought laughs and smiles to all he met.
He has left the finest legacy anyone could, of many friends and of warm and memorable tales wherever he went.
Condolences to his Family and friends and to all who share in the pain of his passing.
Tommy was buried with his beloved banjo in his hand's on January 5th in St Pancras Cemetery, Finchley after mass at St
Josephs Church Finchley.
A wake was held at The Irish Centre Camden Town NW1
We will miss you sorely Tommy.
